INTERREG PROJECT “SCOPRI”: AUGMENTED REALITY AT THE BEAR’S CAVE

The inauguration of the new ARtGlass Augmented Reality experience at Grotta dell’Orso, on the border between Italy and Switzerland, is scheduled for spring 2021, as part of the wider Interreg  project SCOPRI, which involves Italy and Switzerland. The project was presented by: Municipality of Centro Valle Intelvi (lead body), Comunità Montana Lario Intelvese, Department of Earth Sciences Ardito Desio of the University of Milan for the Italian part; Information Systems and Networking Institute of SUPSI (lead body), Mendrisiotto Turismo, Ticino Turismo for the Swiss part.

The aim is to enhance the historical, cultural and naturalistic heritage of the Monte Generoso region through the networking of cross-border tourist itineraries.

ARtGlass has created a unique Augmented Reality experience that will lead you to discover the Bear’s Cave, where you can immerse yourself in a virtual world made up of bears and Neanderthals, accompanied in complete safety by an expert guide.
