THE PROJECT “UGO DA COMO 150” CONTINUES

In March we announced that the project “Ugo Da Como 150. The anniversary that writes the future: augmented reality and immersive room for new experiences at the museum” of the Ugo Da Como Foundation had been awarded by the Cariplo Foundation, to rethink traditional visits to the Rocca, the Casa del Podestà and the Ornithological Museum with the key to augmented reality by ARtGlass.

We brought together archaeologists, 3D modelers, actors and videomakers to create a diversified and one-of-a-kind experience. Augmented reality tours are planned in 3 languages, characterized as follows:

Rocca di Lonato: the visitor, wearing smartglasses, will be accompanied by Isabella d’Este herself who will tell the story of the Rocca in the times of the Gonzaga through 3D reconstructions of some areas of the Rocca such as the refectory where the soldiers refreshed themselves or the gunboat.

Ornithological Museum: it will be a visit dedicated mainly to schools, to discover some specimens of birds displayed in the display cases of this Museum inside the Captain’s House based on edutainment and interactivity.

Casa del Podestà: this visit, managed by a guide from the Foundation, will allow visitors to discover the rooms of the house directly from the owner, the senator Ugo Da Como, who will talk about his life spent cultivating a love for books and friendship.
