THE ANCIENT GREGORIAN CODES LIVE AGAIN IN WORDS AND MUSIC WITH ARTGLASS

ARtGlass protagonist at the inauguration of the exhibition “The Sound of the Word. The choral books of the Cantonal Library of Lugano”. Yesterday evening, Wednesday 9 September, with the promotion of the Cantonal Library of Lugano (Ticino library system) and in collaboration with Tectel and Capitale Cultura International, ARtGlass has curated an unprecedented wearable augmented reality experience, to discover the ancient Antiphonary Codes, no longer accessible and exhibited for the first time in a long time. Thanks to the smartglasses customized with the software and contents of our company, the over 200 participants in the event were able to revisit an area closed to the public of the Church of the Angioli where the Friars sang the texts of the choral books. And they “virtually” leafed through the most beautiful pages, accompanied by ancient Gregorian chants recorded specifically for the event and stunning 3D animations of the drawings and code words, created by the ARtGlass creative team. From next week, ARtGlass smartglasses will be available to visitors who visit the exhibition and you can request them from library staff.
